CanadianAlliance for Poverty Eradication

The Canadian Alliance for Poverty Eradication (CAPE) is working through only four international branch Offices located in Italy, UK, Hong Kong, and U.S.A, National agencies including the UN Economic and Social Council, UNICEF, UNHCR, the World Food Program, World Health Organizations to improve conditions and to promote increased awareness of the need to eradicate poverty. Established in 1997 to bring worldwide resources to people in need, CAPE works with hundreds of companies, foundations, and civil society organizations to strengthen and "scale up" existing programs that are making a positive and lasting difference in young lives.

Over the last 10 years, CAPE and its global network and country Partners have helped millions of people gain access to the life skills, education, job training and opportunities critical to their success.

With the support of CAPE and its partners,people are developing marketable skills in information technology; school dropouts in Australia are becoming young entrepreneurs; youth in Mexico are gaining leadership skills; and young people in China are running their own web-based newspaper.
